my first months in Caen
I wrote this on November 2, 2025 at 3:46pm:
"I've lived a very fragmented life, and living in Barcelona helped me do that. Every fall, you change houses neighborhoods rooms furniture roommates work routines bars cinemas cafes Lidl Mercadona greengrocers tourists subways bus lines Bicing noise neighbors elevators stairs distances emergency contact
like the hannah montana song from the movie "you can change your hair and you can change your clothes, you can change your mind, that's just the way it goes, you can say goodbye and you can say hello, but you'll always find you way back home."
but in this case, I can't tell you exactly which "home" is in question because it changes too: your friends, your cat, your four square meters of private space assigned to you in the chaos of the deafening noise of motorcycles with modified exhausts
